Quick answers

Is the equity report really free?

Yes. There's no cost and no obligation to proceed with a loan. We provide the report so you can understand your position, and if you'd like to explore options afterwards, we're happy to talk them through.

Will checking my equity affect my credit score?

No. Preparing an equity report doesn't involve a credit enquiry, so it won't appear on your credit file. A credit check only happens later if you decide to apply for a loan, and we'll always tell you before that happens.

How accurate are the valuations?

The figures are indicative estimates drawn from lender valuation tools and property data. They're a useful guide, but they aren't formal valuations. A lender may order its own valuation during an application, and the result can be higher or lower than the estimate.

How long does it take to receive the report?

We aim to review requests the same business day where possible. Timing can vary depending on the property and how quickly lender estimates are available, and we'll let you know if we need any extra details.
